Electrical Apprentice - 3rd shift
Sunday night-Thursday night: 10pm-6am
$25.65/hour plus shift premium totaling $26.65/hour

What You'll Do
As an Electrical Apprentice, you'll be part of our team located in Willard, OH. You'll get to: Responsibilities / Authority:
Who You Are
  • Must abide by the SBD Apprenticeship expectations.
  • Assist Journeymen with the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment.
  • Complete preventative maintenance on, repairs to, and/or installation of equipment as directed.
  • Operate lift trucks, cranes, welders, and other equipment to perform maintenance duties.
  • Attend required internal and/or external safety classes and follow all safety rules.
  • Maintain quality and production standards following all ISO and company procedures.
  • Recognize concerns and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Perform maintenance tasks as assigned by Maintenance Leadership.

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Successfully pass the apprenticeship entry exam.
  • Previous relevant electrical experience is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and robotic
  • Knowledge of OSHA, the National Electric Code, and the Fire Code.
  • Must have a valid lift truck operators license or successfully complete lift truck training.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, along with effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions both inside and outside.
  • Able to rotate to different shifts and work overtime as needed.
