The Apprentice Data Center Capacity Engineer focuses on learning and assisting with capacity planning and infrastructure monitoring, while the Data Center Technician handles hardware maintenance and troubleshooting. MARS Solutions Group is looking for a Data Center Technician. Our client is a (Technology/Financial Services) industry leader looking for high-quality talent to make a difference. They are known to respect a traditional work week and often extend contracts for added job security and stability.
Description
This position is 100% onsite (M-F) with training starting at the Milwaukee campus for 2-3 months. After training is completed working hours will be 3PM - 11PM, split between both Milwaukee and Franklin campuses. NO REMOTE WORK.
The Data Center Services team strives to provide an efficient, risk-driven approach to managing the raised floor area of the Data Center. These services include managing assets throughout their life cycle, data destruction, and ensuring appropriate physical and logical security for vendors within the environment. The work environment is hands-on, fast-paced, and deadline-oriented where adaptability is key to our success as a team, thus having depth knowledge of working in large-scale Data Center environments is critical. The individual will be responsible for managing the inventory and assets in our Data Center in accordance with the standard policies and procedures designated by the group. This individual will play a key role in ensuring our Data Center inventory is up-to-date and accurate.
