Location: Remote with 30-40% travel, domestically within the US, with the potential for international travel.

This Data Center Sales Executive will be responsible for aggressively growing profitable sales of Rehlko Power System Solutions (Gensets, automatic transfer switches, paralleling switchgear, packaging solutions, etc).

This Data Center Sales Executive for Power Generation will be focusing efforts to targeted data center end users, engineering consultants and contractors with the capability to review project specifications, quotation preparation, customer interaction, frequent distributor engagement and ultimately developing long term partnerships and sales growth.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for solutions sales to and/or through Distribution Partners, End Users, Contractors and EPC firms for Data Center clients

  • Work with Marketing, Operations and Engineering to maintain and build strong market and competitive intelligence enabling high quality presentations and effective value propositions

  • Lead sales activities supporting the entire influencing chain from End Users, EPC, Contractors and consulting firms with a primary focus on the data center segment with Regional and Global Customers

  • Capability to work and effectively communicate at all levels within an organization from the C Suite throughout the company, including, but not limited to: Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction.

  • Establish long-term working relationships with key individuals at the targeted accounts by becoming a trusted advisor and an integral part of their success.

  • Provide guidance during the initial design stage and assist with developing project requirements, drawings, and specifications, bringing projects to order

  • Review project specifications and drawings and serve as Rehko Power Systems' application engineering expert for assigned and targeted accounts.

  • Work with the inside sales team, suppliers, and distribution network to prepare quotes and preliminary drawings for projects.

  • Participate in project review meetings and pre-quote project requirements meeting

  • Must be knowledgeable in industry power products (generators, ATS, paralleling switchgear, custom enclosures etc.), pertinent codes and standards (NEC, IEEE, UL, IBC, etc.) and overall on-site power system design and integration

  • Must be capable of managing key End User clients across time zones, globally

  • Must be comfortable and competent in providing presentations to large audiences

  • Plan and provide training programs to enhance the Rehlko Power Systems segment knowledge for fellow Rehlko Energy associates and channel partners

  • Participate in Rehlko Power Systems forecasting effort and coordinate with other Rehlko team members via the Sales Operations processes, including daily and weekly CRM tracking and information input

  • Maintain centralized documentation for tracking requests and quotations via active CRM tools

  • Play active role prospecting targets and promoting KPS in the data center segment trade events and associations.

  • Work with Marketing and Engineering to create, prepare, and present technical papers and other application specific white papers for marketing collateral, trade journals and conferences

  • Perform other related assignments as required

Skills/Requirements

  • BS (Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering preferred) / equivalent degree or w/ 5 years of relevant industry experience

  • BS Engineering and/or MBA is preferred.

  • 5+ years' experience in technical quoting, reading prints and working with product lines of similar technical complexity preferred.

  • Proven leadership, results-oriented professional, an aggressive self-starter and a solid communicator are essential characteristics.

  • Demonstrated people skills required to lead & motivate professionals in a matrix organization who are not direct reports.

  • Must be a "high impact" executive, able to establish instant trust and credibility with shareholders, customers, and vendors.

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

  • Additional spoken languages a plus, but not required.

  • Frequent engagement with Power Systems Application Engineering, Design

  • Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Operations and Manufacturing

  • This position requires travel up to 30-40%, domestically, with the potential for international travel.

  • Ability to travel internationally as requested.

  • Self-motived and driven required


The Salary range for this position is $131,450.00-$169,000.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
