Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you.

About the Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking a detail-oriented Manager of Data Center Capacity Management to build and lead a team responsible for optimizing power, space, and infrastructure capacity across our global data center footprint. Reporting into a Senior Manager of Data Center Operations, this role owns our capacity function, with a focus on power utilization optimization, auditing, and capacity planning. This individual will lead and grow a small team of engineers as our footprint and business needs expand. This role drives excellence across four core areas:

What You’ll Do:
  • U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident status
  • Data Center Capacity Management — Own and lead comprehensive capacity planning across power, cooling, space and availability.
  • Assess and forecast required capacity at the rack, row, and room levels, with a particular focus on optimizing power utilization to maximize efficiency and value from our existing footprint.
  • Leverage DCIM software and tooling to drive accurate capacity planning and inventory management.
  • Standards and Reporting — Define, implement, and iterate upon infrastructure capacity requirements and reporting benchmarks, ensuring high-velocity execution and data integrity across all forecasting workflows.
  • Data Center Physical Audits — Take direct ownership of regular physical audit execution and readiness, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our asset and capacity data in support of SOC 2 and SOX compliance requirements.
  • Project Management & Lifecycle Support — Provide support to project management, including tracking, creating, and enforcing SLAs, while overseeing equipment end-of-life (EOL) planning and decommissioning.
  • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
What You’ll Need:
  • 7+ years of experience working in critical environments, with direct exposure to data center capacity and power management.
  • Demonstrated experience optimizing power utilization and capacity within a data center or similarly critical infrastructure environment.
  • Experience working in a cutting-edge, technical, hands‑on environment, leveraging technology to manage and grow environments.
  • Experience in personnel management, people development, and building/growing a team.
  • Experience influencing and leading a group of people, partners, and suppliers across multiple disciplines.
  • Strong knowledge of data center power, cooling, network, structured cabling, server, and storage infrastructure.
  • Hands‑on experience with DCIM software for capacity planning and inventory management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of capacity planning best practices: asset management, use of performance metrics, early and frequent capacity controls, and capacity planning tools.
  • Familiarity with capacity assessment at the rack, row, and room levels.
  • Direct experience owning or executing physical audits in support of SOC 2 and SOX compliance requirements.
  • Experience with equipment EOL planning and decommissioning processes.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong spreadsheet analysis skills (e.g., advanced Excel/Google Sheets and AI models for capacity modeling, asset tracking, and reporting).
  • Strong communication and collaboration experience, with the ability to build trust and influence across cross‑functional teams.
Benefits of Working at CrowdStrike:
  • Market leader in compensation and equity awards
  • Comprehensive physical and mental wellness programs
  • Competitive vacation and holidays for recharge
  • Paid parental and adoption leaves
  • Professional development opportunities for all employees regardless of level or role
  • Employee Networks, geographic neighborhood groups, and volunteer opportunities to build connections
  • Vibrant office culture with world class amenities
  • Great Place to Work Certified™ across the globe

Expected Close Date of Job Posting is:10-20-2026 CrowdStrike was founded in 2011 to fix a fundamental problem: The sophisticated attacks that were forcing the world’s leading businesses into the headlines could not be solved with existing malware‑based defenses. Founder George Kurtz realized that a brand new approach was needed — one that combines the most advanced endpoint protection with expert intelligence to pinpoint the adversaries perpetrating the attacks, not just the malware. There’s much more to the story of how Falcon has redefined endpoint protection but there’s only one thing to remember about CrowdStrike: We stop breaches.
