Sr. Nuvolo Developer/System Administrator

Description

Please note: This position is part of a proposal effort and will be filled only upon contract award.

The Senior Developer and System Administrator will design, develop, and maintain asset lifecycle, space & workplace, and facilities management solutions, enhancements and maintain the ServiceNow Nuvolo platform. This dual-role position involves both backend development and platform administration to ensure the system remains scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational needs.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Platform Development: Customize and maintain the Nuvolo application on ServiceNow platform using JavaScript and GlideScript.
  • System Integration: Develop APIs and integrate Nuvolo with external enterprise tools using REST and SOAP web services.
  • Workflow Configuration: Build custom service catalog items, incident management flows, and maintenance modules for facilities management teams.
  • Testing & Deployment: Conduct system testing, analyze business requirements, and create technical documentation for all configurations.
  • Data Management: Assist with data migration analysis, load assets, and maintain accurate operational and financial metrics.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow application development and implementation.
  • Direct hands-on experience implementing or configuring the Nuvolo platform.
  • Deep proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern Web development frameworks.
  • Certified Application Developer (CAD) or certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) designation is highly preferred. 
  • Candidates must possess, or be able to obtain prior to start date, acceptable identification for federal facility access, such as a REAL ID-compliant driver's license/ID, U.S. passport, or other approved federal identification document. ID must remain valid for the duration of employment.

Requriements

  • Writing complex JavaScript and GlideScript to build automated business rules, UI actions, client scripts, and script includes tailored to facilities data and asset lifecycles
  •  Developing and customizing front-end user portals, custom views, and operational forms using HTML, CSS, and Service Portal 
  •  Designing and enforcing data separation models, Access Control Lists (ACLs), user criteria, and custom support group routing rules. 
  •  Building, configuring, and maintaining robust inbound and outbound REST and SOAP web services to link Nuvolo data with external corporate tools. 
  •  Constructing automated Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) data pipelines and using ServiceNow Import Sets to seamlessly bring legacy asset registries into the cloud environment. 
  •  Building custom automation flows for preventive maintenance scheduling, parts inventory auditing, and financial management. 
  •  Designing and updating specific Facilities Catalog Items, enabling employees to submit straightforward service requests. 
  •  Planning, testing, and troubleshooting the instance during periodic system upgrade windows for both base ServiceNow releases and Nuvolo application updates. 
  •  Providing high-priority production support to rapidly debug script errors, data synchronization failures, or system performance bottlenecks.

Compensation

  • $90,000- $130,000 annually. Salary is dependent upon experience level and qualifications/certifications
