Job description

Zurich North America is currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of a planning & forecasting solution in Anaplan. This role will play a critical part in implementing and future support of a scalable, driver-based planning platform supporting financial forecasting, scenario modeling, and performance management across the organization. While this position will be based out of our Schaumburg, Illinois or our office in Chicago, IL, we are offering the flexibility to work both in the office and remotely. You will collaborate with your manager to set a schedule that supports you, your customers, and the team.

  • Design and develop Anaplan solution architecture ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical model designs
  • Design and develop Anaplan models, modules, dashboards, and calculations aligned with business requirements
  • Support integration with upstream/downstream systems (e.g., data hubs, finance systems)
  • Communicate analytical insights, trends and patterns to various stakeholders
  • Support model deployments, testing (UAT), and documentation of solutions
  • Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to support planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling processes
  • Communicate model design, model assumptions, outputs, and insights to nonโ€‘technical stakeholders
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in finance, including support for financial planning, budgeting, and rolling forecast processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with other planning and forecasting systems (e.g. BPC, EPM, or similar tools)

Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. If your expectations are above the listed range, we still encourage you to applyโ€”your unique background matters to us. The pay range shown is a national average and may vary by location. The proposed Salary range for this position is $95,900.00 - $157,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
