Job description

JOB SUMMARY
This is a hands-on role focused on providing technical support and complex problem-solving within a data lake house environment hosted in the cloud. The position requires deep technical analysis and troubleshooting of integrated systems, identifying root causes, and developing solutions using various data technologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide primary technical support to the end-user community for software, data, communication, and processing errors.
• Monitor application, production, and implementation support for new releases, addressing both technical and user issues.
• Consult on application testing strategies, document observations, and coordinate responses.
• Maintain project and application information, including schedule, scope, and requirements.
• Make recommendations for process improvements.
• Coordinate information flow between business owners and development staff.
• Coordinate tasks, functional reviews, and application development sessions between development sites and technical work groups, ensuring timely execution.
• Document end-user interactions in automated call logging tools.
• Validate proposed technical approaches for system or application problem logs and recommend mediation strategies to management.
• Perform technical analysis and troubleshooting on complex integrated systems.
Required Qualifications
• HANDS-ON Experience with Databricks (Pyspark, Data Quality Framework, Building custom dashboards).
• HANDS-ON Experience with R/SparklyR as a data analyst.
• HANDS-ON Experience with Pyspark/Python, including scripting, automation, performance tuning, and debugging capabilities.
• HANDS-ON Experience with Starburst as a data analyst, developer, or support engineer.
• HANDS-ON Experience with Collibra as a developer or support engineer.
• HANDS-ON Experience with Alteryx as a developer or support engineer.
