Job description

UCP Skilled Staffing is Looking to hire APPRENTICE level electricians in the Salt Lake area to join our team. Respect for the trades, great benefits and pay await!

Requirements:
  • Measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools.
  • Rouch Ins, Saddles, Receptacles, Saddles, Pipe bending for your skill level
  • MC cable, terminating, running wire, fixtures, outlets for your skill level
  • Performing duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment for your skill level
  • Following state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience on commercial construction sites. All levels of experience welcome to apply!
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety procedures
  • Perform tests and use the results to diagnose problems – for example, when an outlet is not working, using a multi-meter to check the voltage, amperage, or resistance to resolve the appropriate course of action
  • Have the tools of your trade for your skill level on hand and be able to bring them to your job site
  • Reliable transportation
