About Our Registered Apprenticeship Program: Our Registered Apprenticeship Program is designed to provide a comprehensive blend of on-the-job training and classroom instruction. Apprentices will participate in routine classes, focusing on both practical skills and theoretical knowledge. To remain in the program, apprentices must attend and pass several modules, ensuring they gain the necessary competencies to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in weekly apprenticeship classes, focusing on both practical skills and theoretical knowledge.
  • Handle various tools and equipment such as air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, and more.
  • Assist in a variety of tasks alongside skilled craft workers.
  • Perform measurements and layout work for construction tasks.
  • Prepare sites, dig trenches, and ensure the ground is level and ready for construction.
  • Proactively identify and report safety hazards to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Keep your work area, tools, and equipment tidy and functional.
  • Adhere to Company policies and procedures, and obtain necessary certifications as requested, including BBP, First Aid, CPR, OSHA Training, PEC, H2S, and more.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in English reading and comprehension.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Positive can-do attitude.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Additional Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting up to 70 pounds, and standing for extended periods.

Position Type, Travel, and Work Schedule:
