Company Description: We are a diversified construction company specializing in commercial & residential flooring, glass & glazing, walls & ceilings, commercial doors & hardware, and millwork & fixture installation.
Position Description
Position Description: We are looking for carpenters who specialize in cutting and installation of acoustical ceiling grid and tile.
Principal Responsibilities:
  • Install acoustical ceiling grid and tile
  • Read and interpret blueprints to construct the finished product
  • Work in and operate scissors and boom lifts
  • Knowledge of basic carpentry skills to install a variety of specialty ceiling products and wall panel systems
  • Communicate effectively with others in all phases of work and is safety-oriented
  • Ensures job site remains clean and orderly

Other Duties As Assigned: Performs other related duties as assigned including supporting team members in the completion of their work for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the business.
Position Requirements
Experience/Education Required:
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Demonstrates dependability, accountability and initiative
  • Knowledge of basic tools i.e. ability to read and use a tape measurer
  • A year of experience in the field is preferred

Conditions of employment: Must be able to pass pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen. The employee is expected to all adhere to all company policies. Requires strenuous physical work with the ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds independently and 100+ pounds as a team lift, including frequent work on hands/knees, while pushing and pulling, bending and twisting, while performing physical labor that is essential to completing the project.
