Job description

Amee Bay, LLC a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our Team in San Diego, CA.
Qualified Candidates will be able to:
  • Work closely with Senior Electricians to develop or improve current knowledge of various shipboard electrical tasks.
  • Learn how to read electrical drawing/diagrams.
  • Develop key skills to execute clean and efficient wiring in cabinets.
  • Learn to properly route cables throughout cableways.
  • Use calibrated tools such as Multi-Meters and Meggers

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and within work sites as required.
  • Inventory received material.
  • Help maintain a clean worksite.
  • Assist senior technicians with drilling, cutting, and modifying various shipboard items.
  • Be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds

Position Requirements:
  • US Citizenship.
  • Must meet requirements to obtain a Federal Secret Clearance.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of marine/maritime related experience.
  • Ability to perform general maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Knowledge of relevant tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work aboard ships which includes frequent climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
  • Must have a Valid U.S. Driver's License.
  • Must pass drug screening as a condition of employment.

This position is located in San Diego, CA.
The hourly wage for this position is $18.00 to $22.00, based on experience.
