Customer Service Representative

Join the Team at Area Heating & Cooling

At Area Heating & Cooling, we know that exceptional customer service is just as important as exceptional technical service. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for our customers while helping support our service, maintenance, and sales teams

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable handling both inbound and outbound phone calls. You'll play a critical role in creating an outstanding customer experience while helping drive the growth of our service and maintenance departments.

Pay: $20-24/hr Depending On Experience

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

What You'll Do

  • Answer inbound calls from customers and provide exceptional customer service
  • Schedule service, maintenance, and installation appointments
  • Make outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to schedule maintenance visits, follow up on estimates, and support marketing campaigns
  • Assist customers with questions, concerns, and service requests
  • Help maintain efficient technician schedules and routing
  • Update customer records and appointment information accurately
  • Communicate effectively with technicians, dispatchers, and management
  • Support membership, maintenance agreement, and customer retention efforts
  • Meet outbound calling and appointment-setting goals

Requirements

  • Previous customer service, call center, dispatching, or office experience preferred
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and handling inbound customer inquiries
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Professional phone presence and positive attitude
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software
  • Experience with ServiceTitan or similar CRM software is a plus
  • HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or home service industry experience preferred but not required
