Job Summary
Almost Family - Central Oregon is looking to hire a full-time Caregiver to help seniors and disabled individuals remain independent in their own homes. We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, and driven Caregiver to provide personal care and companionship services for our clients in the Roseburg, Oregon area.
Compensation & Benefits
The Caregiver role pays between $18 - $20 per hour and paid biweekly. As part of the Almost Family Team, the Caregiver will enjoy a variety of benefits, including paid time off, healthcare benefits,development opportunities and paid training.
Responsibilities
• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and more
• Monitor clients' health and document their needs
• Establish and maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
• Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and housekeeping
• Escort clients to medical appointments and other activities
• Assist with transportation to and from doctor's appointments and other errands
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience caring for seniors or disabled individuals
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
