The Role
The Marketing Applied Sciences (MAS) team develops analytics-driven solutions that help GM organizations achieve their business goals. As the Senior Strategist, CRM Analytics & Insights, you will lead the delivery of CRM analytics and insights for the OnStar brand, quantifying the impact of CRM activations and recommending opportunities for optimization.
You will bring strong expertise in CRM, digital analytics, and marketing technology to translate data into actionable marketing strategies and connect CRM analytics to cross-channel customer experiences. Working cross-functionally, you will deliver automated reporting, deep-dive analyses, customer profile insights, and closed-loop reporting that help the OnStar marketing team improve engagement, retention, and conversion.
What You'll Do
  • Lead CRM analytics and insights delivery for OnStar, quantifying the impact of CRM activations and recommending optimization opportunities across the customer lifecycle.
  • Analyze CRM influence on lifecycle engagement, retention, and conversion, monitor campaign performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Elevate CRM findings into strategic, consultative recommendations and communicate complex analytical stories in ways that translate into measurable actions.
  • Build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and prioritize key marketing questions, establish measurement goals, and chart a path to activate those goals.
  • Oversee and support the development of brand strategists by reviewing stakeholder deliverables and providing actionable feedback.
  • Partner with data science, engineering, and Marketing Technology teams to define data requirements and ensure data quality, accuracy, and effective CRM measurement.
  • Connect data from email, app, website, and outbound marketing channels to deliver automated reporting, actionable insights, and closed-loop measurement.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Marketing, Business, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in owned media, web analytics, CRM analytics, customer lifecycle analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Deep understanding of CRM reporting and measurement frameworks.
  • Ability to integrate data and findings from multiple sources and present a holistic, actionable point of view.
  • Experience managing analytics projects, including project plans, timelines, ad hoc requests, and implementation of new analytics capabilities.
  • Advanced understanding of email service providers and associated optimization and analytical tools.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
  • Deep experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI; analysis tools such as Excel, Databricks, or Snowflake; data-querying languages such as SQL, Python, or R; and marketing analytics platforms such as Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Analytics, or Adobe Customer Journey Analytics.
  • Experience with statistical methods and experimentation techniques.
  • Experience developing structured and logical frameworks to define problems, analyze data, and derive insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make complex concepts understandable and actionable for technical and management audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work proactively and independently while guiding strategy and collaborating effectively with stakeholders.

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Master's or MBA degree in Analytics, Data Science, Econometrics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or another quantitative field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience integrating CRM data across email, mobile applications, websites, and outbound marketing channels to support cross-channel measurement.
  • Experience partnering with data science, engineering, and Marketing Technology teams to implement new analytics capabilities.

The salary range for this role is ($106,600 - $163,400). The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
