Job Description: Medical TechnologistLocation: Laredo, TX

Our client is seeking a certified Medical Technologist to join their team. As a Medical Technologist, you will perform diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and monitoring of various disease states.

Pay Range:
  • $18.83-$29.60 per hour

Relocation assistance is available.

Shift:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday)

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Science, Applied Science, or equivalent
  • ASCP (MT) certification is required
  • 2 years of experience in a hospital laboratory (preferred)
  • MLT certification may be accepted based on required college hours and in accordance with CLIA personnel requirements ยง 493.1489
Position's Purpose and Essential Functions:
  • Perform diagnostic testing on patient samples
  • Follow standardized procedures and prepare samples for testing
  • Analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits

Requires a bachelor's degree and must be a certified medical technologist. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
