The Opportunity: We are seeking a dynamic Sales Director for Applied Research Solutions to drive growth and expand the impact of our customized research offerings. In this influential role, you'll help member companies accelerate their sales, innovation, and overall market success. As a key contributor to our mission, you will serve as the primary sales subject matter expert for Applied Research Solutions, playing an integral role in strategic account planning and acting as a trusted advisor to our members.
What You'll Do:
  • Identify, shape, and advance opportunities for customized research solutions that support member companies' growth objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across your assigned account teams, leveraging shared expertise to craft high-value solutions.
  • Serve as the front-facing sales expert for Applied Research Solutions, representing the group in member engagements and strategic discussions.
  • Contribute meaningfully to strategic account planning within an integrated, mission-aligned sales team.
  • Guide members as they navigate emerging trends, sharpen their strategies, and pursue meaningful business outcomes.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • 8 - 12 years' experience in business-to-business sales role
  • Previous experience in selling market research and related services
  • Knowledge and ability to present research findings
  • Experience writing sales proposals for research business
  • Understanding of the life insurance, annuity, and/or employee benefits industry preferred
