Job Summary:
D&G Solutions is a rapidly growing company that prioritizes its people and mission success. They are seeking a Data Scientist to support USSTRATCOM/J7 assessments by integrating data sources and applying predictive modeling to inform decision-making for senior leaders.
Responsibilities:
• Integrate, analyze, and evaluate diplomatic, informational, military, and economic data to assess progress toward strategic deterrence and operational objectives.
• Develop and refine measurement criteria (MOEs/MOPs), scoring standards, and defensible assessment logic for formal reporting.
• Build structured, secure, scalable data systems and develop automated monitoring pipelines for intelligence, OSINT, diplomatic, and after‑action data.
• Apply advanced statistical methods and machine‑learning models to identify patterns, forecast outcomes, and uncover new trends.
• Develop dashboards, visualization tools, GUIs, and connectors that enhance decision‑making and improve assessment workflows.
• Produce graduate‑level written analyses, executive briefings, and clear, actionable reports for senior leaders.
• Support operations, campaign, risk, and Joint Force assessments by synthesizing trends, evaluating OAI (operations, activities, investments), and identifying cost‑benefit impacts.
• Utilize AI/ML tools—including LLM text analytics—to augment analytic depth and accelerate assessment processes.
• Participate in boards, bureaus, centers, cells, and working groups as an analytic subject‑matter expert.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of assessment tools, models, and methodologies.
• Other duties assigned by Program Manager.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in data science, computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, applied physics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7+ years of combined experience in data science, visualization, and database work.
• Expertise in: AI/ML modeling and statistical analysis
• Expertise in: LLM usage and text analytics
• Expertise in: Python for automation and data processing
• Expertise in: SQL and relational schema design
• Expertise in: Visualization using Tableau/Power BI
• Expertise in: Integration with commercial AI/ML platforms (Maven Smart Systems, Databricks, AWS SageMaker)
• Familiarity with API/RSS data ingestion and Agile team collaboration.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
