Job description

The Assistant Underwriter will assist and support the underwriting function by ensuring information submitted is complete and accurate for rating of new business, renewals, and mid-term changes. Provides cursory review of risk to aide in the underwriting process as well as other duties as requested.

Requirements:
  • Associate's degree (professional work experience can be substituted for a degree).
  • Proficient mathematical ability, especially decimals and percentages.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
