Job description

Position title: Mission Planning & Common Intelligence Instructor Location: VA Beach, VA Clearance level required: Secret Responsibilities (including, but not limited): * Mission Planning & Common Intelligence Specialist Instructor will serve as subject matter expert regarding standardization/modernization of Mission Planning and Common Intelligence Picture/Common Operating (CIP/COP) curriculum. * Develop and standardize training material, training aids, planning processes, and Surface Maritime exercise planning procedures. * Provide SME (subject matter expertise) regarding combat systems integration of mission management tools. * Acquire knowledge and information regarding new/emerging technologies, lead/assist systems integration efforts and assist in the design/development/management/instruction of new curriculum and doctrine. Should be familiar with military Decision-Making Process, Troop Leading Procedures and special operations mission management tools. * Manage, modernize, instruct the following Surface Maritime Mission Management Tool curriculums. * Design and develop new curriculum for emerging technologies and management tools. Qualifications Position Specific Knowledge and Requirements: * 5 years' minimum experience within the last ten years as a Special Warfare Combatant Craft Crewman (SWCC) with achievement of SWCC Senior qualification in accordance with COMNAVSPECWARGRUFOUR INST 3120.3e. * Applicant's SWCC Senior qualification must not have been removed for administrative or disciplinary reasons. The qualification requirement is waivable by the COR on an individual basis if the following criteria are met: 10 years' experience within the last 15 years as a Naval Intel Analyst, with experience in Naval Maritime Operations, preferably SOF or Joint Special Operations plans, operations, training, or exercise positions at JSOTF, SOJTF, JSOC or TSOC level. * 5 years' experience as NAVY Instructor supporting or augmenting active-duty training cadre with subject matter expertise, echelon IV level combat systems integration efforts, scheduling/planning, classroom instruction, practical field training, final training exercises, troop movements, consumable supply management and performance as opposing forces (OP4). * Demonstrable understanding of Joint SOF Operational and Strategic Operations. * 2 years' experience using Naval Surface Maritime Mission Planning and Common Intelligence Picture/Common Operating Picture (CIP/COP) and Naval surface maritime mission management tools * Possess a valid state driver's license. * Be able to operate a Personal Computer (PC) with common/standard business software programs. Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with others, both verbally and in writing. * Enter data into multiple databases accurately. * Possess an active SECRET Security Clearance. Contractor shall verify clearance status of proposed personnel prior to proposal submission. * If applicants are previous military personnel, they shall have received an honorable discharge from military service and have never lost applied specialization during military career.
