We have an opportunity for an experienced Cybersecurity engineer who has a track record of successfully accrediting enterprise IC systems. We are excited to invest in capable and focused people who bring a positive attitude to every situation that they encounter. Successful candidates represent our firm as embedded members of our client's mission team at sites primarily in Northern, VA. Success in this position will necessitate significant experience assessing and mitigating enterprise systems for security risks and vulnerabilities. Prior knowledge of IC compliance policies and protection mechanisms is mandatory. Expertise in malware reverse engineering, forensic investigation, and cybersecurity incident response are required as well. You will collaborate closely with key approving officials and cybersecurity
governance boards.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, test and implement advanced software security techniques in compliance with technical reference architecture
  • Organize on-going security testing and code review to improve software security
  • Detect, troubleshoot and debug issues that arise
  • Prepare engineering designs for new software solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities
  • Participate in the team's work at all levels of the architecture
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation
  • Provide help and consulting to team members on secure coding practices
  • Stay informed about new tools and best practices of the information security industry

Requirements:
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
  • 3+ years' experience of working in a Cybersecurity or Information Security Engineer position
  • Strong experience with techniques, standards and methods for authentication and authorization, applied cryptography, security vulnerabilities and remediation
  • Excellent knowledge of web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services and Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols
  • Deep understanding of all aspects of security research and development
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or other related area
