What you'll do in the role:
Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Director, Lead Software Engineer in Alpharetta, Georgia to support comprehensive application development, including functional, technical specifications, design and development for Digital Business Automation. Design and develop core Java applications using Spring and RestAPIs. Analyze user requirements, envision system features and functionality. Collaborate with other teams to build interfaces with their systems. Interface with global team of developers and business users. Produce proof of concept in the new areas of development. Conduct knowledge sharing sessions with the team. Ensure high quality of deliverables while enforcing development and security best practices. Participate in design discussions and contribute to the architecture process. Investigate production issues. Provide technical support for debugging web applications, database and assistance to production systems. Responsible for Production stability. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $164,000 and $164,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
