Daikin Applied is seeking a Product Applications Manager. The Product Applications Manager will plan, organize, and control the heat pumps product line from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives by performing the following duties. Location: Staunton, VA - Hybrid or Remote
Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and recommend product line objectives, including sales volume and profit forecasts
  • Direct market development, sales promotion, distribution and pricing policies
  • Analyze market trends and potential. Prepare sales forecasts for use in planning manufacturing operations and controlling inventories
  • Recommend modifications of the assigned product or products
  • Maintain contacts with distribution centers and important customers to follow up on promotion efforts
  • Maintain contact with the salesforce to monitor trends and keep informed of salesforce needs
  • Develop methods for field testing merchandising programs to determine public acceptance. Evaluate the effectiveness of promotions and advertising programs, and recommend improvements or changes
  • Review complaints and suggestions relative to assigned product or products
  • Participate in the preparation of advertising programs for the assigned product or products and supervise market research. Develop and recommend new product concepts
  • Coordinate departmental activities with other departments, such as engineering and manufacturing, to ensure synergism of objectives

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of related experience

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $110,900 - $188,900 + 15% bonus in Virginia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
