The Director, IT Applications and Business Solutions is a strategic leader responsible for the development, implementation, and optimization of enterprise applications and digital solutions that drive business value. This individual will lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance business systems, align IT initiatives with organizational goals, and foster innovation through technology. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute the roadmap for enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.) aligned with business priorities
  • Lead end-to-end application lifecycle management including selection, implementation, integration, and continuous improvements
  • Direct a team of IT professionals, solution architects, and project managers to deliver scalable and sustainable solutions
  • Ensure strong governance over applications portfolio including security, compliance, and risk management
  • Oversee vendor relationships, negotiations, and performance for outsourced services and software solutions
  • Manage budget planning, forecasting, and cost optimization for the applications portfolio
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and contributes to the IT strategy and innovation program
  • Applications Portfolio Management - Rationalizing License support and SaaS subscriptions, avoiding redundancy, and promoting ROI-focused adoption.
  • Business Relationship Management - As a Business Partner of one or more of our Operating Companies, collaborate with business leaders to identify process improvement opportunities and digital transformation initiatives

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles with a focus on applications and business solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based applications, software development lifecycle, and integration platforms
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills
  • Proven success in leading enterprise system implementations and digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience with IT governance frameworks and cybersecurity best practices
  • Strong executive-level presentation and writing skills
