Job description

About the role:

This role serves as the technical liaison for raving fans and highly valued customers by translating customer drawings, specification, and RFQs into product solutions that meet customer and business needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate expertise and recommend solutions from cross-functional teams to application and performance enquiries from customers related to Induction and EC motor applications in the Commercial motors field.
  • Interact with sales team and sophisticated customers on applications to translate customer requirements to product specifications/designs and provide valued Techno commercial proposals.
  • Help resolve product issues at the customer and in the field by working with customer and field sales team.
  • Provide inputs to product engineering and New Product Development team on Commercial motors applications, customer requirements to design and/or improve products considering manufacturability, quality, reliability and cost
  • Lead in capturing voice of customer and development of product specifications. Translates customer needs to manufacturing requirements and coordinates testing and qualification of product in customer applications.

Education:

  • Electrical Engineering or equivalent related experience, advanced degree preferred.

Knowledge/Training

  • Skilled in organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating working relationships with all levels of personnel within and outside the organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, strong customer-focused behavior.
  • Experience in electric motors, rotating machines Industry is plus.
  • Ability to interpret customer specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system.

Experience:

  • 1+ years engineering experience in a field sales, customer support or design, manufacturing environment in equipment manufacturing industry providing techno-commercial offers to field sales and customers.
