Job description

  • Uses company knowledge to give proper advice to customer questions concerning equipment selection. Requires intense telephone work with excellent customer satisfaction and communication skills.
  • Provides applications assistance for positive displacement pumps, progressive cavity pumps, pneumatic valves and power generation equipment based on engineering parameters such as flow, viscosity and pressure demands. Requires the ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering principles to correctly select equipment.
  • Coordinates manufacturing deadlines to meet customer schedules.
  • Coordinates and schedules testing. Able to inform customers on what types of tests and certifications can be provided. Works with engineering department to determine engineering requirements for specialty items. May be required to write sales letters and proposals.
  • Requires successful follow through to determine that correct products were ordered and when necessary, manufactured according to customer's requirements.
  • Participates in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to stay apprised of new developments in field.
  • Conducts customer visits to determine field problems or to verify actual customer requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree and/or related applications experience or three years manufacturing experience working with fluid handling and progressive displacement equipment. Requires excellent problem solving ability.
