Yaskawa is currently looking for an Applications Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical expertise and know-how to assist customers in the use of Yaskawa products and services to improve their application and processes. Working closely with our sales team, you will develop relationships with customers fostering “value add” growth opportunities and enhance the utilization of Yaskawa products and services. You will provide product, application, and process knowledge for projects and solutions from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in electrical or mechanical engineering as well as have firsthand knowledge of process automation solutions specifically in the AC drives area. We are seeking candidates who have 3 to 5 years of experience involving Yaskawa or competitor product lines, applications and projects. Field experience and C++, serial communications and simulation tool experience is a plus. This role does require at least 25% domestic and international travel.
