We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with a focus on frontend web development to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will take ownership of major features, mentor junior developers, and help shape the future of our web applications. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant user experiences.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret or Top Secret security clearance with SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) eligibility. U.S. citizenship is required.


What is a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

A Senior Frontend Engineer is an experienced developer who specializes in creating user interfaces for web applications, using modern technologies like JavaScript and frameworks such as React. They focus on optimizing performance, ensuring accessibility, and collaborating with design and backend teams to deliver engaging user experiences

Requirements:Required Qualifications

· U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Secret or Top Secret clearance with SCI access.

· B.S. degree or higher in Computer Science or related field such as E.E, Computer Information Technology, Math, Physics. Experience may substitute based on the requirements of the position.

· A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in frontend development.

· Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

· In-depth experience with at least one major frontend framework (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).

· Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).

· Understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous data flows.

· Experience with frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, Vite).

· Proficiency in writing automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end).

· Strong understanding of secure coding practices, accessibility, and performance optimization.

· Dealing with client requirements.


Preferred Qualifications

· Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance strongly preferred.

· Experience working in classified or restricted environments (e.g., DoD, IC).

· Familiarity with server-side rendering frameworks (e.g., Next.js).

· Experience with design systems, component libraries, and Storybook.

· Background in CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government).

· Familiarity with STIGs, RMF, or other federal compliance standards.
