Job Context

Arrivia powers the travel behind many of the world's membership and loyalty brands. Its private travel marketplace gives members access to deeply discounted cruises, resorts, and hotels, and its platform runs the booking, servicing, and rewards underneath those programs. The engineering teams build and scale that platform across a distributed, cloud-native architecture.

As an Agentic Software Engineer III, you design, build, and ship complex features and subsystems for the travel platform using AI coding agents as core development tools. You own technical delivery end to end, from design through production, and lead technical efforts within your team with significant autonomy your work is reviewed at the outcome level rather than task by task. You make the calls on system design and cross-component integration, balancing delivery speed, scalability, and long-term maintainability, and you review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability while helping set the team's quality bar. You also build the tooling that multiplies the team: internal agentic workflows that automate testing, documentation, and code-review triage, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations that connect AI agents to internal tools, data sources, and platform services. This role is fully remote within the US, on a fast-paced, highly collaborative team that spans US and international time zones. Expect 5 to 8 years of full-stack experience and at least two years using coding agents professionally, across TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or C#/.NET, a front-end framework like React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular, and a cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

This role is open to candidates in most US states, with the exception of Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, West Virginia, and Washington D.C.

You fit if you already build with agents daily and bring judgment and leadership to it: you write clear prompts, read the output critically, catch the subtle bug or security gap before it ships, and mentor junior engineers on doing the same. You care about the product and the member on the other end, you collaborate across product, design, and engineering, and you help revitalize services that have outlasted their original design through refactoring, migration, and cloud-native patterns. Working knowledge of MCP and configuring MCP servers, RESTful APIs and microservices, real-time streaming platforms like Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ, containerization with Docker, and CI/CD rounds out the picture, and exposure to RAG, LangChain, or graph-based data technologies is a plus.

How hiring works here

Applying with Provn is designed to get more interviews for the best candidates coming in without a referral. Instead of sending a cold resume into an ATS and waiting, you complete a challenge built by Arrivia and submit a short video walking through how you approached it. You'll use AI the way you would on the job, and you'll show the thinking behind what you built.

Why that works in your favor:

  • You show how you actually build and ship with coding agents, instead of hoping a resume gets it across.
  • Your judgment with AI becomes visible, which no "proficient with AI coding agents" resume bullet can prove.
  • One challenge puts you in front of the engineering team, scored on the work, with no referral required to get there.

The hiring manager reviews every completed submission, and the strongest candidates go straight to an interview round. No referral needed. Performance over pedigree. Proof over polish.

What's in it for you

Arrivia offers competitive compensation, plus access to the private travel marketplace with deeply discounted cruises, resorts, and hotels, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, and a 401k with company match. Beyond the package, you get ownership and impact on a platform serving members worldwide, along with the room to lead technical efforts and mentor engineers on a team of curious, action-oriented builders that ships fast and stays current with where agentic development is going.

Apply by completing the challenge at provn.co, where the full role details live. Applications are open through July 31.
