Job description

Nordson EFD, a global leader in Engineered Fluid Dispensing, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we are looking for candidates who share that same commitment.
Summary of the role
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.
Application Test
  • Attend sales calls and meetings to understand customers' needs and provide preliminary equipment recommendation.
  • Perform dispensing application trials using company's existing products, ensuring proposed system meets customer's requirements.
  • Write test reports highlighting results, settings, final equipment list, and related notes.

Customer Support
  • Communicate with customers, international sales groups, R&D and marketing regarding technical and product issues.
  • Support customers in installation, training, and troubleshooting, whether in-person or virtually.
  • Supports worldwide sales groups in all technical areas of all EFD products.

Sales Support
  • Attend top customer meetings, trade shows, and other pertinent meetings as requested to help provide technical knowledge as needed.
  • Aids with providing product training to all sales groups with focus on top products.

Corrective Action Process
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams in resolution of quality or manufacturing issues affecting customers.
  • Help coordinate customer problem resolution with engineering, customer service, sales, R&D, Quality Assurance and other personnel.

Product Development
  • Helps review technical content of product manuals, technical support information and sales brochures.
  • Assists with development and implementation of product training tools.
  • Participates in New Product Development process by providing insight into real world product usage by customers.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • BS in Engineering or related field or equivalent related work experience.
  • Experienced in technical sales facing and application support role/environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong customer service skills.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, and a professional demeanor with a high energy level and the ability to adapt effectively in a dynamic changing environment
  • Experienced supporting EFD product line and TTA platform programing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications required.

Preferred Skills and Abilities
  • Action-oriented self-starter.
