The North America Marketing Data team is responsible for building the data & engineering capabilities, and AI-powered solutions that enable better marketing decisions across North America. The organization connects data, technology, and insights to create scalable capabilities that improve consumer understanding, marketing effectiveness, measurement, personalization, and AI-driven decision making.
Role Overview
The Principal, AI Application Engineer will be a hands-on technical leader responsible for designing, building, deploying, and improving AI-powered applications, portals, copilots, and intelligent workflows that deliver measurable value for marketers.
Working closely with Marketing, MarTech, Analytics, Data Engineering, Architecture, and central technology teams, this player-coach will translate business needs into production-ready solutions through rapid prototyping, application and code development, and technical delivery. The role will leverage enterprise platforms and establish reusable frameworks and integration patterns that can scale from North America to global markets.
What You Will Do for Us
Build Marketing AI Applications
Develop AI-powered portals, copilots, workflow tools, self-service experiences, and decision-support applications that improve how marketers access information, collaborate, and make decisions.
Lead Product & Engineering Delivery
Design, prototype, build, test, deploy, and improve full-stack AI applications. Write and review production code, establish engineering patterns, and work directly with enterprise engineering teams to move solutions from concept into reliable production use.
Operationalize AI Experiences
Embed Generative AI, Agentic AI, conversational interfaces, intelligent search, and automation capabilities into business-facing applications.
Integrate Enterprise Platforms
Create secure integrations across Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI services, CRM platforms, MarTech solutions, and approved enterprise technologies.
Design for Enterprise Scale
Build reusable components, APIs, and frameworks that support adoption across brands, categories, and global markets.
Accelerate Business Adoption
Partner directly with marketers and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are intuitive, adopted, and embedded into everyday workflows.
Influence Enterprise AI Strategy
Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, Security, Privacy, and Digital Technology teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards while contributing reusable capabilities back to Coca-Cola's broader technology ecosystem.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of software, application, platform, or AI engineering experience, including recent hands-on development of production applications.
  • Strong full-stack development experience with React or Next.js, TypeScript or JavaScript, Python, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native design.
  • Experience building and deploying AI applications using LLMs, RAG, copilots, conversational interfaces, and agentic frameworks.
  • Experience with Azure, Azure AI services, GitHub, CI/CD, containers, observability, application security, and production support.
  • Experience integrating enterprise platforms and SaaS applications, preferably including Adobe Experience Platform, Customer Journey Analytics, CRM, CDPs, or MarTech solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to personally prototype and build solutions while providing technical direction, code reviews, and engineering guidance to internal and partner teams.
  • Ability to translate marketing needs into secure, intuitive, reusable applications that align with enterprise architecture and engineering standards.
