Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Programmer Analyst/Application Administrator to support and enhance a portfolio of business-critical operational applications. This role offers a blend of application support, system integration, configuration, and enhancement development while providing the opportunity to gain ownership of key enterprise applications.
What You'll Do:
* Support, troubleshoot, and enhance multiple operational applications
* Develop and maintain integrations, APIs, data interfaces, and workflows
* Implement application configuration changes and minor system enhancements
* Participate in system upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities
* Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and system configurations
* Develop and execute test plans for application enhancements and fixes
* Partner with business users and analysts to gather requirements and resolve issues
* Follow established ITIL-based support and change management processes
* Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation (approximately 1 week every 6 weeks)
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
* 4-7 years of experience in application development, application support, or a similar technical role
* Experience with Java (Spring Boot preferred)
* Strong SQL and database skills
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
* Experience working directly with end users to identify and resolve technical issues
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with enterprise asset management platforms such as Maximo
* Experience with system integrations, APIs, or middleware technologies
* Experience supporting multiple enterprise applications
* Background in utility, infrastructure, or public-sector environments
Technologies & Applications:
* IBM Maximo (Enterprise Asset Management)

* SQL and relational databases
* APIs, integrations, and middleware solutions
* Additional third-party business applications
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
