Job Description
MARS Solutions Group is looking for an experienced CRD Support Analyst located in Boston MA. Our client is a Global Asset Management and Investment Management firm looking for high-quality talent to make a difference. They are known to respect a traditional work week and often extend contracts for added job security and stability

Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business users and IT for all CRIMS-related initiatives, applying critical thinking to bridge technical and business needs.
    Analyze and document trading workflows, compliance rules, and portfolio management processes within CRIMS, identifying gaps and proposing effective solutions.
  • Configure and maintain CRIMS modules including Order Management, Compliance, and Portfolio Management, using a problem-solving mindset to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and compliance teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient system solutions.
  • Lead testing, validation, and deployment of CRIMS updates and enhancements, proactively identifying potential issues and resolving them before implementation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to trade execution, compliance alerts, and data integration, leveraging analytical skills to diagnose root causes.
  • Coordinate with Charles River support and internal teams for workflow changes, system upgrades, and patches, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum value.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, workflows, and change requests, with attention to detail and logical organization.
 
Candidate
We are seeking a highly analytical and solutions-oriented Business Systems Consultant with deep expertise in the Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS). This role is critical to supporting our trading operations and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to analyze, optimize, and support workflows within CRIMS, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience working with Charles River CRIMS in a business systems or analyst role.
  • Proven ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure, dynamic environments.
  • Strong understanding of investment management operations, trading workflows, and compliance processes.
  • Experience with FIX protocol, market data feeds, and integration with upstream/downstream systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to evaluate complex systems and workflows.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SQL and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices.
  • CRD training or certification in Charles River modules.
