Key Responsibilities
The Power Solution Business Group is a key part of the Delta corporate world. Our group engages in the design, development, and sale of switching power supplies, power distribution units, power shelves and racks, and provides the whole power solutions as well as their individual components. A PSBG Field Application Engineer plays an important role in supporting customers with technical, commercial, and consultative activities.
You will be responsible for cooperation and field customer support to remove technical and non-technical obstacles in the development and integration of Delta products into customers' systems.
You must be able to leverage technical expertise and sales techniques to improve company sales, win new customers, and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Provide direct technical support to analyze and understand problems of Delta products in customers' applications. Collect accurate information on usage and failure modes and work with global Delta teams on effective closure of the issue.
  • Provide accurate technical information and general commercial data to customers to address their inquiries about existing and new Delta products
  • Provide roadmap presentations and lead technical discussions to evaluate customers' requirements and to promote Delta products and technologies
  • Co-operate and support account managers and regional sales teams to create and develop relationships with new customers
  • Collaborate with global Delta design, factory and quality teams to facilitate communication between those teams and customers to drive closure on customer deliverables

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in power electronics engineering or EE
  • Military Experience in Electronics or Avionics with 8 years
  • Experience with power supply technical discipline with 8 years
