Job Summary:
GIGATEC Engineering is seeking a Data Application Engineer to enhance a UI prototype and develop it into a user-friendly interface. The role involves working with various technologies and tools to automate processes and manage complex workflows.
Responsibilities:
• Enhancing a UI prototype developed using Streamlit and building it into an interface for external availability.
• Using the Linux CLI and tools for development.
• Developing Bash scripts to automate manual processes.
• Recent software development experience using Python and Java.
• Familiarity with Streamlit for building interactive web applications.
• Developing front-end applications using TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Working with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue.
• Familiarity with Distributed Big Data processing engines including Apache Spark.
• Using Jupyter Notebook for data analysis.
• Performing data wrangling and preprocessing using tools such as pandas and NumPy.
• Working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data formats such as Parquet, JSON, CSV, XML.
• Understanding data quality concepts, data validation, and anomaly detection.
• Using Git Source Control System.
• Using Apache Airflow for orchestrating, scheduling, and monitoring workflows.
