Job Title: Intern, Integration/Test Engineering 

Job Code: 42757

Job Location: Herndon, VA

Job Schedule: 9/80:Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off

Job Description:

Support the set-up, configuration, and documentation of hardware and softwaresystems under test, including loading software onto multiple devices

Support design, development, and implementation of cost-effective procedures fortesting and troubleshooting of components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, andsystems

Support development of test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability, testreports, test flow, and test case design and implementation 

Document testing issues and failures and perform analysis of test results

Support formal systems acceptance testing activities

Present test strategies, plans, and results to internal and external customers

Support failure investigation activities and failure review board (FRB) meetings 

Qualifications: 

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree, or a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, ComputerEngineering, or other related field at an accredited university. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Knowledge of communications systems, software programming languages, automated softwaretest, networks, network security, power systems, antennas, RF, and/or mechanicaldesign and analysis 

  • Desired skills include requirements analysis and verification, software scripting andusage of automated testing frameworks and application 

PAY TRANSPARENCY: In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Virginia (Greater D.C. area) is $25.50 per hour - $48.00 per hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
