Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, and support cloud-based applications and integrations, including third-party products.

  • Translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions for complex projects and enhancements.

  • Optimize backend performance, scalability, resilience, and responsiveness.

  • Integrate data sources, REST APIs, and services to streamline workflows and improve system efficiency.

  • Build and support integrations with Workday, ServiceNow CMDB, Jira, and Genetec physical security platform.

  • Support migration of the security technology stack to AWS-native services and the buildout of Genetec Federation.

  • Apply enterprise standards for security, data protection, testing, documentation, and change management.

  • Promote solutions through development, test, and production environments and provide post-production support.

  • Partner with business, technology, and vendor teams to resolve issues and deliver sustainable solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Five or more years of related experience, including at least three years in application development.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

  • Experience with server-side deployment, system integration, API management, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

  • Workflow integration or development involving Workday, ServiceNow CMDB, or Jira.

  • Strong knowledge of database design, optimization, debugging, and performance tuning.

  • Experience with Agile delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.

  • Ability to document technical designs and communicate effectively across cross-functional teams.

  • Physical security technologies such as Genetec, C-CURE, enterprise video management and archiving, or Envoy.

Preferred Experience

  • Genetec ClearID, Synergis, Omnicast, or Federation experience and certifications.

  • CompTIA Network+ or Security+ certification, particularly in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
