CK Power is looking for an experienced Field Service Generator Technician in Phoenix, AZ. In this position you will support customers by performing maintenance, diagnostic, and repair operations on powered generator units. You will be issued a company-owned truck you can take home!
The Field Service Generator Technician will:
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage all aspects of critical power systems installation, start-up, and commissioning. Oversee correction of issues arising from commissioning.
  • Perform diagnostic and repair procedures on all systems including PLCs, AC/DC, and switch gears.
  • Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on electric power generation equipment, including gas and diesel engines, generators, and transfer switches.
  • Coordinate with installing electrical contractors.
  • Participate in an On-Call rotation.
  • Overnight travel as needed.

The Field Service Generator Technician needs:
  • 10 years' minimum experience with diesel power generation.
  • AAS Electrical Power Generator Technician certification or graduation from a technical school.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Self-directed mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Electrical Generating Systems Association (EGSA) certification a plus.
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. with overtime as needed.
  • Willingness and ability to be On-Call.
  • Willingness and ability to travel overnight as needed.
