The team is responsible for building the TikTok E-commerce partnership for the TikTok e-commerce business in the US. Responsibilities: - Define category strategy, assortment roadmap, and merchant structure based on supply, trends, and user behavior. - Identify category gaps (supply, content, logistics, professionalism) and propose actionable programs. - Build category-level frameworks for assortment planning, merchant segmentation, and lifecycle operations. - Acquire and incubate merchants to support category growth; map and onboard strategic supply partners (greenhouses, crystal suppliers, artists/galleries, distributors, auction houses); drive activation, growth, retention, and operational health - Diagnose merchant performance (assortment, content, conversion, delivery, pricing), and develop tailored growth plans. - Guide merchants on TikTok-native content, short-form video, live shopping, and creator collaboration; and drive merchant adoption of tools (e.g. Auction features) and programs that enhance GMV and repeatability. - Discover innovative collaborative models that align to the merchant's short-term and long-term development plans, and invest platform resources effectively and efficiently - Solve key challenges in business growth by strong collaboration with cross-functional teams
Qualifications

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $23.75- $23.75.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
