POSITION SCOPE

We are seeking a full‑time Director of Business Developmentto be part of our Risk Solutions group. This highly skilled team provides operational risk advisory expertise to GA Group clients in the US and overseas. They advise on matters related to business continuity, emergency and crisis management, enterprise risk management, and IT disaster recovery.

The Director of Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth by originating and developing new business opportunities across GA Group’s risk‑related service offerings. The Director will focus on both new client acquisition and expanding relationships within existing accounts and channel partners.

This position plays a key role in expanding GA Group’s market presence by cultivating and leveraging strategic referral channels, with a particular emphasis on establishing and growing a network of insurance brokers, accounting firms, and technology partners. Through a consultative sales approach, the Director will engage senior stakeholders such as CFOs, risk managers, and deal teams to identify complex risk challenges and position tailored solutions that align with client needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Developing and executing a business development strategy focused on risk and resilience solutions
  • Building and maintaining relationships with referral sources and strategic partners
  • Identifying client needs and positioning GA Group’s risk‑related services as tailored solutions
  • Collaborating with internal subject matter experts to deliver integrated, client‑centric solutions
  • Maintaining an active pipeline and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and activity metrics
  • Staying informed on market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging risks impacting clients

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 7+ years of experience selling consultative services
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Experience within the insurance and risk management industry
  • Demonstrated ability to sell to C‑level executives and senior decision-makers
  • Proven ability to influence and engage key account stakeholders
  • Experience using CRM platforms to manage pipeline and reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Strong presentation, written and public speaking skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • High level of integrity and commitment to quality in business practices
  • Self‑motivated with excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
