Position Overview
About the Role
The Innovation & Technology Department is seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking leader to oversee the daily operations of our Innovative Applications Solutions Team. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing people, and is energized by improving systems that support critical public-sector operations.
What You'll Do
As an Innovative Applications Solutions Supervisor you will:
  • Lead daily operations for the Application Team, including workload delegation, priority setting, and performance monitoring.
  • Develop and mentor staff through coaching, training, cross-training, and professional growth opportunities.
  • Oversee administrative responsibilities such as scheduling, approving timecards, conducting evaluations, and managing disciplinary actions.
  • Drive application support and improvements by coordinating design, installation, connectivity, troubleshooting, and documentation for software applications and interfaces.
  • Collaborate on strategic planning for future application needs, emerging technologies, and long-term IT initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Clerk, State, and local laws, rules, and regulations through strong internal controls and documented procedures.
  • Support project teams, provide regular updates and metrics, and assist with research, feasibility studies, and recommendations.
  • Be available for off-hours work when needed and perform additional duties as assigned.
