Job Summary:
Intelliswift - An LTTS Company is seeking a Senior Manager for IT Application Development to lead a development team in designing and developing automated planning tools. The role involves collaborating with business partners to create user interfaces and services that meet business needs while ensuring adherence to development standards and providing leadership to the team.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for retaining, motivating and developing of associates to effectively fulfil the mission of the Technology Development organization
• Collaborate with developers and business users to design, develop, and integrate user interfaces and services that meet business needs
• Must be adaptable to changing designs and to adding performance enhancements
• Must be able to document code and implement code quality tools
• Ensure all configuration and development changes follow the appropriate SDLC, adhering to all appropriate controls and provide technical guidance as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve development dev ops processes and standards, and drive that implementation
• Ensure IT application development process disciplines (solution delivery, project management, work requests, QA, etc.) and standards are established, effectively managed and performed
• Worked closely with other managers, developers, business analysts, business stakeholders, and consulting partners across different locations on the development and support of projects and enhancements
• Provide leadership by establishing department and individual goals
• Set goals and provide timely and relevant feedback for the team, in order to sustain a culture of personal development and team accountability
• Responsible for administrative management of 5-10 IT professionals, either as direct reports or sourced – HR administration, Time Reporting, etc.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration
• +3 years of web or mobile development (ASP.NET, MVC, SQL, JavaScript...etc.)
• +5 years of IT and business/industry work experience
• At least 2 -4 years of leadership experience in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders
• Requires advanced technical and business knowledge in software development life cycle, quality assurance, project management and other related disciplines/processes
• 12 months experience of in Agile development
