Job description

CNO NetDev Developer
Make an Impact Where It Matters Most
At Intelliforce, we build mission software that helps operators move faster and act with precision in environments where the details matter. In this role, you will work as a general-purpose CNO reverse engineer focused on network-based devices, helping design, prototype, modify, and integrate solutions for emerging mission needs. You will work closely with analysts, operators, data scientists, and other engineers to deliver tactical support and build capabilities that can operate where the mission needs them most.
What Makes This Opportunity Stand Out
This role is a strong fit for an engineer who likes deep technical work, real mission problems, and tools that do not live on a shelf. You will augment existing toolsets, reverse engineer Linux-based network devices, build prototypes to validate requirements, and produce deployable solutions that work within real mission constraints. The work is hands-on and collaborative, with a mix of reverse engineering, software development, testing, and direct support to operational teams.
At Intelliforce, your work is visible and your technical judgment matters. Because we support prime programs, our teams stay close to meaningful mission work with real momentum. Because we are a small business, leadership is accessible, communication is direct, and strong engineering gets noticed. Add in long-term stability, strong benefits, and a people-first culture, and this becomes more than another CNO role. It is a chance to build capabilities that deliver real mission results.
Here's What Your Day-to-Day Could Include
• Augment existing toolsets to support evolving mission needs
• Derive, document, and analyze technical and mission requirements
• Build prototypes to demonstrate understanding of mission requirements
• Produce deployable toolsets that operate within mission constraints
• Test and oversee testing of toolsets before release
• Reverse engineer Linux-based network devices and support mission-focused development
• Work closely with analysts, operators, data scientists, and software engineers to provide tactical mission support
Minimum Qualifications
Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas
• 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree
• Or 10 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree
• Four additional years of relevant Software Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
Required Skills
• Familiarity with Unix-based systems
• Experience with reverse engineering Linux-based network devices
• In-depth understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP and analysis of network traffic using tools such as Wireshark
• Ability to produce and modify software systems in C, C++, Python, and Assembly
• Ability to provide support for fielded software systems
• Familiarity with Git and Subversion
• Experience with Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence
• Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations
Desired Skills
• Experience with reverse engineering Windows or embedded platforms, including RTOS
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, C#, or Rust
• Experience developing CNO-specific software in Linux, Windows, or embedded applications
• Experience with vulnerability research and exploit development
• Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systemsCompensation Range: $194,000.00 - $249,000.00
*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
