The College of Engineering and Science (COES) at Louisiana Tech University seeks an energetic, creative, and highly organized professional to serve as the Graduate Coordinator of Recruitment and Retention. This position plays an important role in supporting graduate recruitment, admissions, and student success initiatives, while promoting the College through effective communication and outreach.
Primary Responsibilities
• Manage graduate student applications and maintain communication with prospective students.
• Coordinate and support graduate recruitment initiatives and events.
• Develop and maintain recruitment materials in print, digital, and video formats.
• Help maintain and update graduate program websites and social media platforms.
• Support current graduate students and collaborate with the Graduate Student Council to enhance the graduate student experience.
• Coordinate graduate student events and engagement activities.
• Perform other admissions and enrollment management duties as assigned by the Associate Dean for Graduate Studies.
Candidate Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. Candidates should demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, creativity, and proficiency with spreadsheets and Microsoft Office applications. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a willingness to learn new technologies and processes, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. The position requires the ability to interact promptly, professionally, and effectively with a diverse population of prospective and current students, faculty, and staff.
