Job description

Application Developer, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 80% telecommuting permitted): Prepare documentation and ensure new functionality is effectively transitioned to business users and interfacing application teams across collaboration platforms and distributed systems. Design and develop enterprise content management and business process objects based on functional and business requirements. Assist in designing and implementing enterprise application solutions by following established development standards and architectural guidelines. Develop proof-of-concept (POCs) solutions and quick-win enhancements to address evolving business needs. Contribute to development planning and manage work plans to support multiple parallel project deliverables. Design distributed application strategies to ensure optimal system performance and scalability. Monitor and report governance metrics to support ongoing optimization of enterprise content and distributed applications. Evaluate and reuse existing application assets to maximize efficiency and long-term value. Participate in architecture and design reviews for major enhancements, maintenance, and application support activities. Review application design, source code, and related technical artifacts to ensure quality and compliance with standards. Utilize: Enterprise Content Management System in SharePoint (in-Premises and Cloud), Microsoft .NET Framework, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Cloud (PAAS/SAAS), Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code Editor, PowerShell ISE, C#. Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or related and two (2) years of experience as a Developer or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing Enterprise Content Management System in SharePoint (in-Premises and Cloud), Microsoft .NET Framework, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Cloud (PAAS/SAAS), Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code Editor, PowerShell ISE, C#. $118999 to $169000 per year.
