Job description

Job Summary: The Field Intern position must be able to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) to all levels both within and outside the organization in a professional and timely manner. A few of the specific responsibilities will include:
Individuals will assist Project Managers and Superintendents with the tracking of quantities, submittals, RFI development, layout/surveying, Daily cost tracking, daily reports, quality control and support of our safety plan.
Knife River requires all employees to successfully pass a post-offer pre-employment drug test as well as random tests throughout employment.
Minimum Qualifications:
1.Candidates are preferred to be pursuing a 4-year degree in Civil or other Engineering, Construction
Management.
2. Self-Start with the desire to learn and grow.
3. Fluency in Microsoft Office required, MS Excel, Outlook, Word, Project
4. Successful applicant must have a valid driver's license and a qualifying driving record under Company
Policy.
