Expected pay for this position is $29.36 - $34.55/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

This position is for a ServiceNow administrator, and the strongest candidates will have experience as a ServiceNow administrator and/or developer.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Application Administrator I supports the basic integration of OSF HealthCare System applications through development, implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and decommissioning functions. The Application Administrator I must have a basic understanding of, mission-critical processes to provide technical expertise for the effective use of approved applications. This role is service oriented ensuring consistent availability of approved applications to our mission partners as a service within a team environment. Occasional travel could be required.

Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate's Degree OR High School Diploma and 2 years’ experience in information technology or healthcare
  • Business Knowledge in Microsoft, Platform Virtualization, CompTIA, Citrix or Epic Client systems or similar platforms that are used in Healthcare Technology Information systems delivery.

Licensure/Certifications:

  • 1 certification in area of discipline within 18 months of hire in area of discipline (minimum of 1) is required such as Microsoft (MCSE, MCSA, or similar); Platform Virtualization (examples: VCA, VCP, VCAP, or VCDX), CompTIA (A+, Network+, or Cloud Essentials, or similar), EPIC Client System Administrator, Citrix Certified Administrator, or certification within area of discipline as approved by application Manager/Director. Certification could be obtained through internally provided training. Certifications must be maintained
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other closely related field in order to understand information technology principles
  • 3 years HealthCare Information Technology experience
  • Experience working in an Enterprise environment
  • Experience with application implementation and support
Other skills/knowledge
  • Basic HL7 interface, x-12 EDI, or other data exchange knowledge as appropriate
  • Basic knowledge of network, server, database and messaging technologies as it applies to application support
