Meaningful Work From Day One

The Associate Operations Analyst for FICO is responsible for the ongoing stability, support, and optimization of the global Finance and Controlling application landscape. Reporting within the Application Operations pillar, this role serves as a primary analyst for resolving functional incidents and fulfilling service requests. The Associate Operations Analyst ensures the high availability of core financial modules, including Product Costing, Treasury, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), while maintaining a high level of customer service. By adhering to Brown-Forman Information Technology service management standards, this role ensures that production systems remain healthy, users are well-supported, and continuous improvements are deployed with minimal risk.

What You Can Expect

  • Provide support to investigate and resolve high-priority functional incidents in SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) and integrated systems (Coupa, Concur, OneSource) to minimize business disruption.

  • Manage and execute standard service requests, including minor configuration changes, master data assistance, and "how-to" guidance for the global finance community.

  • Ensure the stability and performance of critical financial closing processes, including Material Ledger runs, cost allocations, and financial reporting cycles.

  • Participate in root-cause analysis for recurring issues to identify underlying problems, implementing permanent functional fixes to reduce ticket volume and technical debt.

  • Support a global network of Finance Super Users, equipping them to handle first-level inquiries and advocate for standardized best practices.

  • Maintain regression testing documentation to ensure system integrity during upgrades, patches, and enhancement deployments.

  • Partner with the Delivery pillar during "hypercare" periods to ensure a seamless transition of new functionality into the long-term support model.

What You Bring To The Table

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field of study.

  • 3+ years of professional experience in SAP, with a focus on Finance.

  • Understanding of SAP FI/CO modules, with exposure to core processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, or Cost Center Accounting.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously (Incidents vs. Requests) in a fast-paced production environment.

What Makes You Unique

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related technical/financial discipline.

  • Basic understanding of ITIL frameworks (Incident and Request Management).

  • SAP Functional Certifications in FICO or related modules.

  • Familiarity with integrated technologies such as Coupa, OneSource, Concur, or Salesforce.
