Job Summary
Supports financial decision-making by monitoring deadlines; collecting, summarizing, and consolidating data; allocating variances; analyzing and interpreting data; conducting comparative analyses; explaining data and assumptions; researching and correcting variance problems; and assembling and analyzing historical financial data.
Essential Functions
-Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management.
-Support the onboarding of junior analysts by mentoring and assisting them.
-Track key performance indicators, prepare financial reports, and sometimes present them.
-Create ad-hoc reports and perform financial analysis.
-Assists project teams with financial guidance.
-Reviews financial reporting and ensures data integrity to enable management decisions.
-Ensures compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and regulations.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study required

Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance required
  • 1+ years of experience in a role within a large healthcare organization preferred
  • Knowledge of capital projects, budgeting and monitoring of capital expenditures
  • Experience using AI tools including Microsoft Copilot

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Good analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Superior Excel Skills is required.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
  • Ability to analyze, consolidate, and interpret accounting data.
