Manweiler Appliance is seeking an experienced Appliance Repair Technician to join our established, family-owned company. We have served Northern Colorado for 80 years and offer the stability, consistent workload, and professional support that technicians need to build a long-term career.
This is not a seasonal or temporary position. We are looking for a dependable technician who takes pride in diagnosing problems correctly, completing quality repairs, and providing customers with an excellent service experience.

Position Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair major residential appliances, including refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, ovens, cooktops, microwaves, and related products
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic appliance problems
  • Complete repairs accurately and efficiently
  • Explain diagnoses, repair options, and appliance operation clearly to customers
  • Provide professional and respectful service inside customers’ homes
  • Document diagnoses, repairs, parts used, and service recommendations
  • Identify and order the correct replacement parts
  • Communicate with customers and office staff regarding repair status and follow-up needs
  • Maintain an organized and professional work vehicle, tools, and equipment
  • Follow manufacturer procedures, company policies, and applicable safety standards
  • Help protect customers’ homes and property while completing service work
Qualifications
  • Previous professional appliance repair experience is required
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience repairing multiple major appliance brands
  • Understanding of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and appliance control systems
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and service documentation
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a daily service schedule
  • Dependable attendance and professional appearance
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and work around major appliances
  • Basic computer, tablet, or mobile-device skills for service documentation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Manufacturer training or appliance-service certifications
  • Experience with sealed-system or refrigeration repairs
  • EPA Section 608 certification
  • Experience with warranty-service procedures and manufacturer service portals
Compensation
Pay is based on appliance-repair experience, technical ability, certifications, and overall qualifications.
Expected pay range: $20-$23 per hour

Schedule
  • Full-time
  • Monday through Friday
  • Typical hours: 730am-5pm
  • Occasional overtime may be available or required depending on service demand
