Job description

Our company is seeking a reliable Appliance Service Technician to respond to customer calls for household appliance repair and installation needs. We operate and are growing rapidly, offering highly competitive pay. To be successful as an appliance repair technician, you should stay abreast of the latest technologies and developments in home appliances. Ultimately, an outstanding Appliance Repair Technician should be able to demonstrate excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, as well as achieve exceptional customer service. Additionally, proficiency in referring to appliance manuals to resolve difficult problems is required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Examine Client appliances and identify reasons of breakdown.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot problems.
  • Provide estimates of cost for fixing damaged appliances.
  • Repair or replace damaged appliances after customer's approval.
  • Advise customers on how to use appliances properly.
  • Stay up to date with the latest appliances technologies and parts.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of all items/parts used to repair, replace, or maintain appliances.
  • Assure adherence to company standards and follow best practices of repair service.

Job Preferences

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience repairing, installing, and maintaining home appliances.
  • Ability to use hand tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Having own tools is a plus.
